JFM-6 is a well-equipped, easy-to-use and precise grooving slotter for amateur use. The base, column, work table, stops and clamps of the workpiece are made of massive cast iron castings, which ensures high accuracy and the absence of vibrations during operation. The delivery includes a metal base with a compartment for storing tools. There are several options for fixing the workpiece, which allows you to choose the most convenient way to work. First of all, the part can be manually pressed to the main stop rigidly mounted on the table parallel to the longitudinal axis of the feed. For backwater, on the other hand, there is a movable stop parallel to it with an eccentric stopper of the selected position. Two identical vertical clamps are mounted on two sides of the table on vertical bars. They can be rotated on the axis and shifted up or down by depressing the plate stopper (as on pipe clamps); the clamp is made by an eccentric mechanism. Finally, for the longitudinal positioning of the workpieces, there is an end stop with several degrees of freedom for installation in different planes. The table can be served along two horizontal axes using rotating handwheels. There are adjustable travel stops. Vertical feed is made by the lever and also has limiters that are easy to set using the provided scale. The position of the lever itself can be changed depending on the height of the workpiece or cutter. This operation is performed without an auxiliary tool: it is enough to take the lever to the side to unlock the gear coupling and rearrange it. The well-thought-out, high-quality construction of this machine will allow you to perform grooves at right angles to the surface of the workpiece with professional precision, quickly and with minimal effort for presetting.
